While at Microsoft I designed a collection of custom backgrounds for Teams that gave users a more creative and branded way to show up in virtual meetings. The goal was to balance functionality with visual impact. Backgrounds had to be clean enough not to distract from the person on screen while still carrying a sense of identity and polish.
